About Us
Housed in the historic Keep in Bodmin, the home of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry, Bodmin Keep: Cornwall's Army Museum tells the story of the Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry and the Light Infantry and the regiments that form them, from 1702 to 2007. From uniforms to medals, souvenirs to swords, the museum holds a wide variety of collections telling the social history of the regiments and those associated with them, exploring themes of both the practicalities of being in the army and the impact it has.
Our online shop includes retail products that make fantastic gifts, with ranges for kids and adults alike, including a number of bespoke gifts. If you are purchasing a gift and wanted a message including with it when posted please let us know in the customer notes section at the checkout.
As a charity (Cornwall's Regimental Museum CIO No: 1174375), we need your support to fundraise for projects we intend on doing, to benefit our community and our visitors when we are able to open the museum, and work with community partners again.
We have a range of 'products' available which you can purchase to support the museum, some of these are a one-off, some will contribute to further fundraising. With the future uncertain, we are not able to say when all these resources would be purchased by ourselves and projects fulfilled, but rest assured all monies raised will be ring-fenced for the purpose you intended.
As a thank you for your support of the museum, you will receive a certificate acknowledging your purchase and the support you have given the museum.
